Operelio or Skyvia: which to choose

Choose Operelio if

  • Rows should be screened against your Do Not Contact list by email, phone, domain or company (Starter and up).
  • Addresses are missing or bounce, and you want them rebuilt from the patterns in your own file (Starter and up).
  • Each file's leads need an owner: one rep, a column of rep emails or round robin in a trail.

Choose Skyvia if

  • You move data between many cloud apps and databases, not only files into a CRM.
  • You need expression, lookup or relation mapping, or one file loaded into deals and other related objects in one run.
  • Loads must run hourly or every minute, as one step in a wider data pipeline.

Sources and targetsSources: files by upload, email-in or the API (Pro and up). Targets: HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive.Sources: CSV uploads, cloud storage such as Dropbox or SFTP, apps and databases. Targets: 200+ connectors, HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive among them.
Mapping fieldsSaved mappings or ready-made ones for sources such as Apollo, Lusha and Shopify, with values merged, split or set to a fixed value.Column, expression, lookup, constant and relation mapping; same-name columns map automatically. Expression and relation mapping need Standard or higher.
Matching existing recordsPeople by email address and companies by website or name, found in the CRM for you. The file needs no record IDs.Upsert matches on record ID, or a Salesforce External ID, and inserts rows without one. Matching on email takes a lookup mapping.
Before anything is writtenA pre-push report lists the rows to be created, updated, skipped or refused, with the reason for each skip or refusal. We found no preview. After the run, a per-record CSV error log lists the failed rows, their values and the error.
Values already thereFills only blank fields by default; overwrite is one setting for the whole push. Never merges or deletes CRM records.Insert, update, delete and upsert. An update writes whatever the mapping sends; we found no option to fill only blank fields.

How Operelio and Skyvia differ

  1. Matching records without CRM IDs

Operelio finds the existing record itself, so the file needs no CRM IDs. It matches people by email address and companies by website or name, and combines duplicate rows in the file into one before the push.

Skyvia's upsert updates by record ID or primary key, or by an External ID field on Salesforce. A row with no ID is inserted without checking whether the record exists, so matching on email takes a lookup mapping that fetches the ID from the target.

  2. A report before, or an error log after

Operelio's pre-push report flags rows Salesforce will refuse over restricted picklist values, field lengths, missing required fields or unclear checkboxes, and on HubSpot, rows with malformed emails and dropdown values Operelio will leave out.

We found no preview in Skyvia's Import docs. Its run history gives a per-record error log after the run. With HubSpot's Batch API, on by default for contacts and companies, one failed record fails its whole batch.

  3. Values your team entered stay by default

Operelio fills only blank fields unless you turn on overwrite, which applies to the whole push. There is no undo.

A Skyvia update writes whatever the mapping sends, and we found no fill-blank option. It can also delete records. We found no undo for Import; one-click restore belongs to Skyvia's separate Backup product.

  4. Cleaning and verification before the push

Operelio cleans the file where you import it: Deduplicate, Find & Replace, Filter & Extract and Health Check fixes. The free email quality check runs on every plan, and verification checks whether each mailbox can receive mail, at one credit per address checked (Starter and up).

Skyvia transforms values through expressions, value mapping and whitespace trimming, which is on by default. We found no dedupe inside the file and no email validation.

Where Skyvia is better

  • 200+ connectors

Skyvia moves data between CSV files, cloud apps and databases through over 200 connectors, not only into a CRM.
  • Complex mappings

Expression, lookup and relation mapping. One file can load deals and other related objects in one run, with new IDs returned to the source.
  • Runs every minute

Schedules go as often as hourly on Standard and every minute on Professional, and integrations can sit inside a wider data pipeline.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Skyvia cost?

Skyvia's paid plans start at $99 a month billed monthly, or $79 paid annually. Professional is $499 a month, or $399 paid annually. A Free plan covers 10k records a month and is requested after the 14-day trial. Users are unlimited.

Does Skyvia work with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive?

Yes. It can insert, update and delete HubSpot contacts, companies, deals and leads. The same goes for Pipedrive persons, organizations, leads and deals. Salesforce loads through the Bulk API or SOAP. Upsert needs a record ID, a lookup mapping or, on Salesforce, an External ID field.

Does Skyvia verify email addresses?

We found no email validation or verification in Skyvia's docs. Its cleaning happens in the mapping: expressions, value mapping and whitespace trimming, which is on by default.

Can Operelio sync data between apps like Skyvia?

No. Operelio imports files into HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive; it does not pull data from other apps or databases or sync two systems. Files arrive by upload, by email or through the API (Pro and up).

Is Operelio a Skyvia alternative?

Yes, for teams importing lead and contact files into HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive, from $39 a month billed monthly. For moving data between many apps and databases, with complex mappings and frequent schedules, Skyvia is broader.
