Operelio vs Coefficient
Pick Operelio to replace your CRM's importer: saved and ready-made mappings, cleaning and verification, a report before you push and trails that import each new file into HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive. Operelio or Coefficient: which to choose
Choose Operelio if
- Lead lists arrive as files from vendors, events or your team, and need dedupe and email checks before the CRM.
- You want owners set as leads go in: one rep, a column of rep emails or round robin in a trail.
- New files keep landing, and a trail should import each one on arrival or on a schedule, automatically or with approval.
Choose Coefficient if
- Your team reports on live Salesforce, HubSpot or database data inside Google Sheets or Excel.
- You pull CRM records into a sheet, edit them there with formulas and write the changes back, deletes included.
- You keep External IDs in Salesforce and want scheduled upserts from a sheet, hourly on Pro.
Operelio vs Coefficient side by side
| Compared on | Operelio | Coefficient |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Four jobs in one: a CRM importer, lead flow and routing trails, AI cleanup with Bridgeant by Operelio and 17 cleanup and verification tools. | A Google Sheets add-on and Excel add-in that pull live CRM and database data into a spreadsheet and push rows back. |
| Where data starts | A file, by upload, by email to a folder's own address or through the API (Pro and up). | Rows in a sheet, often pulled from the CRM by Coefficient and edited there with formulas. |
| CRMs it writes to | HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive. Creates and updates records, and never merges or deletes them. | Salesforce and HubSpot, with insert, update, upsert and delete. It pulls Pipedrive data; we found no Pipedrive push. |
| Matching records | People by email address, companies by website or name. No CRM record IDs needed in the file. | Salesforce upsert needs an External ID field; update and delete need the record ID. HubSpot docs do not name the match field. |
| Before the push | A report of what will be created, updated, skipped or refused, with warnings for picklist values, field lengths, required fields and malformed emails. | Preview Changes for Salesforce updates only; we found no preview for other actions or HubSpot. Results are written back to the sheet. |
| Mapping | Saved mappings and ready-made ones for sources such as Cognism and Typeform. Columns can be merged, split or given a fixed value. | Its HubSpot docs show reusable mappings, and automatic mapping only for data Coefficient imported; otherwise you map by hand. |
| Automation | From Starter, trails clean, verify and push each new file on arrival or on a schedule. | Scheduled exports from the sheet, daily on Starter and hourly on Pro. Scheduled HubSpot upserts cover Contacts and Products only. |

How Operelio and Coefficient differ
Spreadsheet round trip vs file import
Coefficient works inside Google Sheets or Excel. You pull records from Salesforce, HubSpot or a database, edit them with formulas and push the rows back, which suits teams that already live in spreadsheets.
Operelio takes a file by upload, email-in or the API and pushes it to your CRM with no spreadsheet in between. Your original file is never changed; every output is a new version.
Operelio matches records without CRM IDs
Operelio finds existing people by email address and companies by website or name, so a file from any source updates the right records. It fills blank fields by default; overwrite is one setting for the whole push.
Coefficient's Salesforce upsert needs an External ID field on the object, and updates and deletes need the record ID mapped. Its HubSpot docs say upsert updates a matching record but do not say which field it matches on.
What each tool shows before a push
Operelio's report flags values the CRM would refuse, such as restricted or dependent Salesforce picklists, field lengths, required fields and malformed HubSpot emails, and gives the reason for each skip and refusal.
Coefficient's Preview Changes covers the Salesforce update action only. Its Salesforce docs say a push cannot be undone, and Operelio has no undo either, so checking before the push matters with both tools.
Operelio cleans and verifies before the import
Operelio cleans and checks the file where it imports it: dedupe, format fixes and the free email quality check. Email verification (Starter and up) checks whether each mailbox can receive mail, at one credit per address checked.
We found no cleaning, dedupe or email verification tools in Coefficient; changes happen in the sheet, with formulas or by hand.
Where Coefficient is better
Live CRM reporting
Coefficient pulls Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and database data into Google Sheets or Excel and refreshes it on a schedule for reports.Edits from the sheet
Coefficient users pull records into a sheet, edit them with formulas and write the changes back, including deletes and cleared HubSpot values.HubSpot associations
Coefficient adds or removes associations between HubSpot records from a sheet, as its own push action.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Coefficient cost?
Coefficient has a free plan. Starter is $59 a month billed monthly, or $49 billed yearly, for one user. Pro is $119 per user a month, or $99 billed yearly, for up to 5 users, with a 30-day free trial. Enterprise is priced by quote.
Does Coefficient work with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive?
Partly. Coefficient pulls data from all three into Google Sheets or Excel. It pushes to Salesforce and HubSpot with insert, update, upsert and delete; we found no way to push to Pipedrive. Scheduled HubSpot upserts cover Contacts and Products only.
Can you undo a Coefficient push?
We found no undo in Coefficient's docs. Its Salesforce docs warn a push "CANNOT be undone", and its HubSpot docs suggest correcting the sheet and pushing again.
Can Operelio do what Coefficient does?
Partly. Operelio pushes files to HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive, creating and updating records. It does not pull CRM data into a spreadsheet, refresh reports, delete records or link HubSpot contacts to companies, and it has no undo.
Is Operelio a Coefficient alternative?
Yes, for lead files going into your CRM, cleaned and checked first, with trails that run automatically or with approval. Starter is $39 a month billed monthly. For RevOps teams who report and edit CRM data in a spreadsheet and write changes back, Coefficient is the natural fit.
