Close import templates and field mappings

The fields Operelio maps into Close

Ordered by how many of the 18 templates fill each one, so what a typical import populates comes first. The API name is what Close calls the field underneath its label.

How the data gets into Close

Operelio formats the file for Close on every plan, including Free, and you import it with Close’s own importer. Direct push currently covers HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive.

• Columns are renamed to the field names Close expects, so its importer matches them instead of asking you to map each one by hand.
• Values are cleaned on the way through: emails lowercased and trimmed, phone numbers put into international format, names title-cased. Each template lists the transform it applies to every field.
• Rows that would fail are shown before you download, not after the import rejects them.
