Where Lusha Prospecting and Close don’t line up

Lusha Prospecting keeps First name and Last name apart, and Close has one Name field.

The template joins them, leaving out any that are empty.

Lusha Prospecting to Close in three steps

Step 1Export from Lusha
  1. Run a search in Lusha Prospecting and reveal the contacts with Show details.
  2. Check the revealed contacts you want.
  3. Click the Export icon.
  4. The CSV is saved to your computer, emailed to you and kept in Export history.

A CSV export from Search takes up to 150 contacts at a time.

Revealing an email address uses 1 credit and a phone number 5 credits.

Step 2Paste into the template
  1. Paste the export at A1 of Paste your export here.
  2. Start here checks all 10 columns were found.
  3. Save Close Contacts import as a CSV.

Works in Excel for Microsoft 365 and Google Sheets. Excel 2019 and older, Apple Numbers and LibreOffice can't run the formulas this file uses.

Step 3Import into Close
  1. Click your name at the top right and choose Import data.
  2. Upload a CSV or Excel file, or paste straight from a spreadsheet.
  3. Choose where each column goes, or check Skip to leave it out, and click Next.
  4. Choose a column to group rows into leads, such as Company.
  5. Set the duplicate matching and choose to add missing information, replace the lead or skip it, then start the import.

Which Lusha export does this template expect?

The Prospecting export, which ships separate First name and Last name columns, Seniority and Departments and a Phone 1 / Phone 2 structure. If your export has a single Contact name column instead, that's the User Data export. Use the Lusha User Data to Close Contacts template for that shape.
