Export your Calendly scheduled events and bring those invitees into Close. The two name columns combine into Close's single name field, plus email and phone. Close models prospects as Leads with associated Contacts; this template creates the Contact records, and you associate them to Leads after import.
Field-by-field mapping
This is the complete column mapping from Calendly to Close. The left column is the header in your CSV export. The right column is the Close field it should map to.

Required by Close.
Calendly exports vary based on questions added to event types. The core fields (name, email, phone, event type, time) are consistent.
Columns we don't use
Your Calendly export includes 4 columns this template doesn't map. Each one below explains why, plus the workaround if you want the data in Close.
- Event Type Name, Start Date & Time
Close doesn't have built-in scheduled-event fields on Contacts.
If you need it. Add custom fields on the Close Contact (e.g. Event Type, Scheduled), or attach the event details as a Note on the Contact after import.
- Response 1
Calendly's custom-question responses depend on the booking form. There's no consistent default home on a Close contact.
If you need it. If Response 1 is always the same question (e.g. Company), map it to Close's company field in the column-mapping step before download.
- Invitee Time Zone
Close doesn't have a built-in time zone field on Contacts.
If you need it. Add a custom text field on the Close Contact called Time Zone, then re-run this template to map it.
Formatting and cleanup
Calendly exports rarely match the format Close expects. Fix these before you import.

How do I export events from Calendly?
In Calendly, go to your Scheduled Events page, click the export icon, select a date range, and download the CSV.
Why do you combine the two name columns?
Close Contacts use a single Name field. The template combines Invitee First Name and Invitee Last Name with a space so each Contact record displays correctly.
Does this create Leads or Contacts in Close?
This template creates Contact records. Close models prospects as Leads with associated Contacts. After import, use Close's bulk-edit tools to associate the Contacts to Leads.
Will this create duplicate contacts in Close?
Close groups contacts under their Lead (company) record. Within a Lead, Close dedupes contacts on email; across different Leads the same email can appear twice. If a Lead with the same Company name already exists, new contacts attach to it, otherwise a new Lead is created. Spot-check or use Close's bulk-merge tools if you re-import the same export.
Where do I import the CSV into Close?
In Close, go to Settings, then Imports, and upload the file Operelio produces. The import wizard handles Contact creation and the association to Leads as a follow-up step.
