Where ZoomInfo and monday CRM don’t line up

ZoomInfo keeps First Name and Last Name apart, and monday CRM has one Name field.

The template joins them, leaving out any that are empty.

ZoomInfo to monday CRM in three steps

Step 1Export from ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo's help center, including the article below, needs a ZoomInfo login, so these steps may be labeled differently in your account.

  1. Run a contact search in ZoomInfo.
  2. Check the contacts you want to export.
  3. Click the export icon above the search results.
  4. Choose to export the contacts as a CSV file.

Each person record exported uses one export credit.

Re-exporting a record you bought in the last 6 months does not use another credit.

Step 2Paste into the template
  1. Paste the export at A1 of Paste ZoomInfo export here.
  2. Start here checks all 7 columns were found.
  3. Save monday CRM Contacts import as a CSV.

Works in Excel for Microsoft 365 and Google Sheets. Excel 2019 and older, Apple Numbers and LibreOffice can't run the formulas this file uses.

  1. Open the Contacts board, open the New contact dropdown and select Import contacts.
  2. Browse to your file or drag it in.
  3. Choose the group to add the items to.
  4. Match each file column to a board column or a new column, or skip it.
  5. Set the duplicate behavior (add as new, skip or update) and click Import Now.

monday CRM items have a single Name column, not separate first and last name columns. The template combines the two ZoomInfo columns with a space so each item displays correctly on the board.
