Where ZoomInfo and Pipedrive don’t line up

First Name and Last Name become one Name

ZoomInfo keeps First Name and Last Name apart, and Pipedrive has one Name field.

The template joins them, leaving out any that are empty.

Two phone columns, one phone field

ZoomInfo splits numbers across Direct Phone and Company HQ Phone.

The template Phone takes the first of Direct Phone and Company HQ Phone that has a value.

Four columns kept in Notes

This template gives LinkedIn Contact Profile URL, Job Function, Management Level and Department no Pipedrive field of their own.

The template writes them into Notes, each with its label, and leaves empty ones out.

ZoomInfo to Pipedrive in three steps

Step 1Export from ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo's help center, including the article below, needs a ZoomInfo login, so these steps may be labeled differently in your account.

  1. Run a contact search in ZoomInfo.
  2. Check the contacts you want to export.
  3. Click the export icon above the search results.
  4. Choose to export the contacts as a CSV file.

Each person record exported uses one export credit.

Re-exporting a record you bought in the last 6 months does not use another credit.

Step 2Paste into the template
  1. Paste the export at A1 of Paste ZoomInfo export here.
  2. Start here checks all 11 columns were found.
  3. Save Pipedrive Contacts import as a CSV.

Works in Excel for Microsoft 365 and Google Sheets. Excel 2019 and older, Apple Numbers and LibreOffice can't run the formulas this file uses.

Step 3Import into Pipedrive
  1. Go to Tools and apps, then Import data, then Import from spreadsheet, and click Get started.
  2. Select the kinds of data your file contains, such as People, and click Next.
  3. Click Upload spreadsheet and choose your file.
  4. Check the mapping, drag any unmapped column onto a field, and click Next.
  5. Check the preview, choose how duplicates are handled and click Start import.

Name joins First Name and Last Name. The checker above counts the rows with Name blank.

Why do First Name and Last Name become one Name field in Pipedrive?

Operelio's Pipedrive format uses a single Name field. The template combines the two columns with a space so the contact records look right in Pipedrive.
