Where Zoho CRM and monday CRM don’t line up

Zoho CRM keeps First Name and Last Name apart, and monday CRM has one Name field.

The template joins them, leaving out any that are empty.

Zoho CRM to monday CRM in three steps

Step 1Export from Zoho CRM
  1. Go to Setup, then Data Administration, then Export.
  2. Click Start an Export and choose Contacts or Leads.
  3. Pick CSV or XLSX.
  4. Download the ZIP. The link lasts seven days.

You need the Export permission for the module. A CSV export takes up to 200,000 records, XLSX up to 50,000.

  3. Save monday CRM Contacts import as a CSV.

Works in Excel for Microsoft 365 and Google Sheets. Excel 2019 and older, Apple Numbers and LibreOffice can't run the formulas this file uses.

Step 3Import into monday CRM
  1. Open the Contacts board, open the New contact dropdown and select Import contacts.
  2. Browse to your file or drag it in.
  3. Choose the group to add the items to.
  4. Match each file column to a board column or a new column, or skip it.
  5. Set the duplicate behavior (add as new, skip or update) and click Import Now.

Why do First Name and Last Name become one Name field in monday CRM?

monday CRM items have a single Name column, not separate first/last. The template combines the two Zoho columns with a space so each item displays correctly.
