When you download your LinkedIn data (Settings, Data Privacy, Get a copy of your data), you get a Connections.csv file. This template maps the export to Zoho's standard contact fields: names, email, company, and job title. Company maps to Account_Name, which links the contact to a Zoho Account record. Emails are lowercased and name fields are title-cased. One thing to know before you start: LinkedIn only includes the email of a connection who turned on email sharing, typically 10 to 30 percent of rows, so most rows land in Zoho without an email. The LinkedIn URL and the Connected On date have no native Zoho Contact field; the Columns we don't use section covers each one.
Field-by-field mapping
This is the complete column mapping from LinkedIn Connections to Zoho Contacts. The left column is the header in your CSV export. The right column is the Zoho Contacts field it should map to.

Columns we don't use
Your LinkedIn Connections export includes 2 columns this template doesn't map. Each one below explains why, plus the workaround if you want the data in Zoho Contacts.
- URL
Zoho Contacts have no native LinkedIn field on the standard layout.
If you need it. Create a custom URL field on the Zoho Contact called LinkedIn, then map this column to it by hand in the column mapper.
- Connected On
Zoho Contacts have no native field for the date a LinkedIn connection was made on the standard layout.
If you need it. Create a custom date field on the Zoho Contact called LinkedIn Connected On, then map this column to it by hand in the column mapper.
Formatting and cleanup
LinkedIn Connections exports rarely match the format Zoho Contacts expects. Fix these before you import.

Should I use this template or LinkedIn Sales Navigator to Zoho Leads?
Use this template if your LinkedIn connections are existing relationships you want to import as Zoho Contacts. Use the Sales Navigator to Zoho Leads template if you're importing fresh prospects that need qualification as Leads before becoming Contacts.
Why are most email addresses blank?
LinkedIn only includes the email of a connection who turned on email sharing in their privacy settings, typically 10 to 30 percent of rows. Connections without a shared email still import as contacts, they just won't have an email until you add one. Dedupe on the LinkedIn URL rather than email if you import more than one export, since email is too sparse to match on.
Why does Company go to Account_Name?
Zoho uses Account_Name on the contact to link the contact to a company record (Account). If the account doesn't exist yet, Zoho creates one during import.
What happens to the LinkedIn URL and the connection date?
Neither has a native field on the standard Zoho Contact layout, so the template leaves URL and Connected On unmapped. The Columns we don't use section below shows you how to add a custom field and map each one if you need them.
Will this create duplicates in Zoho?
Zoho uses email as the duplicate-check field on contacts by default. Contacts with matching emails update the existing record. Because most LinkedIn rows have no email, those rows always create new records, so dedupe your CSV on the LinkedIn URL before import. You can change the match field in Setup, Data Administration, Deduplication.
