Lead flow and routing

Operelio vs LeanData

Pick Operelio if leads from every source should reach HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive clean: trails run each file through cleanup, verification and ICP filters, check the CRM, then route contacts or companies. Pick LeanData if you run on Salesforce and need weighted pools, caps, territories and lead-to-account matching.

  • New leads must be matched to existing accounts and sent to the rep who owns them.
  • You route leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities from every source as they reach Salesforce.

Before the CRM or inside Salesforce

Operelio works before the CRM; LeanData works inside Salesforce. A trail takes each lead file, cleans, verifies and filters it, checks it against your CRM and sets the owner as it pushes. LeanData routes records once they are in Salesforce, as they are created or updated there.

You choose how much runs unattended: a new trail holds every push for approval, and you can let clean runs send on their own. A run that would change a filled-in CRM value always waits.

How deep the routing goes

LeanData's routing goes deeper. It uses round-robin pools with weighted shares and caps per rep by hour, day or week, skips reps who are out and routes by territory and account.

Operelio sets the owner of each contact or company as part of the push: one rep, a column of rep emails or, in a trail, round robin. Round robin shares each file's rows between the reps you name, starting from the top of your list each time. It has no weights, caps or availability rules.

A report before anything is written

Operelio cleans the file before anything is written. It dedupes, screens your Do Not Contact list, verifies emails, checks each row against your CRM and shows what will be created, updated, skipped or refused, with the reason for each skip and refusal. Blank fields are filled and existing values kept unless you choose to overwrite.

Where LeanData is better

  • Routing rules

LeanData routes by weighted pools, caps, working hours, vacations, territories and account ownership.
  • Lead-to-account matching

Fuzzy matching on name, domain, phone and address sends a new lead to the rep who owns the account.
  • Every source, every object

It acts on leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities as they arrive in Salesforce from any source, with audit logs.

Questions

Is Operelio a LeanData alternative?

Yes, if leads should reach HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive clean and routed. A trail (Starter and up) takes files by upload, email-in or API, cleans, verifies and filters them, checks the CRM and can set owners by rep, column or round robin. LeanData adds weighted pools, caps and territories.

Does LeanData import CSV files?

No. LeanData does not take files; it works on records once they are in Salesforce, created by forms, imports or other tools.

Does LeanData work with HubSpot or Pipedrive?

Not on its own. LeanData is built on the Salesforce Platform, its pricing page names only Salesforce, and nothing on its site covers Pipedrive.

Will LeanData route leads that Operelio pushes to Salesforce?

Yes, unless your admin set LeanData to skip bulk uploads. LeanData acts on records as they are created in Salesforce, so it can match and route the records Operelio pushes by its own rules.

How much does LeanData cost?

LeanData does not publish prices. Its pricing page says packages depend on features, objects and the number of Salesforce users or queues, and asks you to book a demo.
