Saved mappings

After configuring your column mappings in the CRM Formatter, click "Save Mapping" and give it a descriptive name. A good name includes the source and destination, like "LinkedIn export to HubSpot contacts" or "Mailchimp list to Pipedrive persons". The mapping remembers which source columns go to which CRM fields, plus all your cleanup settings.

Save when you'll see this source again: recurring weekly Mailchimp exports, monthly client lists, repeat LinkedIn pulls. Don't save one-off files; the saved-mappings list fills up fast and you'll wonder which is which.

Worked example: a sales-ops manager runs a weekly Mailchimp to HubSpot import. The first run takes about three minutes mapping. Subsequent runs load the saved mapping and complete quickly for typical files.

Next time you upload a file with the same column structure, load your saved mapping from the dropdown. All columns map instantly. If the new file has columns the saved mapping does not recognize, those columns are left unmapped and you can assign them manually.

View, rename, and delete saved mappings from the Mappings page in the app. If your source data changes (new columns added, old ones removed), load the mapping, adjust it, and save it again under the same name.
