How deletion works

After the retention period, uploaded files and job outputs are deleted, unless you have starred them. Starring a file keeps it until you delete it yourself. You can also delete any file manually at any time from the Jobs page. Deletion is permanent.

Files are only accessible to your workspace. They are not shared with other customers, and they are not sold or given to anyone for their own purposes. The only third parties that touch them are the providers that store and process them for us, listed on the Sub-processors page.

Security measures

All files are encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher, and encrypted at rest by the providers that store them. Files are scoped to your workspace and are not reachable from any other account. API keys are hashed before storage. See the Security page on the website for the full details.

Frequently asked questions

Can I extend the retention period?

The retention periods are fixed per plan. Upgrade to a higher plan for longer retention, or star a file to keep it past the window. You can always download your files before they expire.

What happens to my files if I cancel?

You keep your current plan until the paid period ends. During that time, your files follow the retention policy of that plan. Once the period ends and your account reverts to Free, the 24 hours Free retention window applies to every file uploaded or created from then on. Files that already exist keep the window they were given when they were created.
