How to export from Salesforce

Export leads or contacts from a Salesforce report

Build or open a Leads or Contacts report.
From the report's dropdown, choose Export.
Choose Details Only and pick .csv.
Click Export and save the file.

You need the Export Reports permission. A report export takes up to 100,000 rows and 100 columns.

The templates read Salesforce Leads and Contacts reports of 12 to 16 columns. This lists every column they map, the field it fills and the CRMs that have it. Each CRM name opens its template. Columns no template uses are listed after the table.

How do I export Salesforce data to CSV?

Build or open a Leads or Contacts report. From the report's dropdown, choose Export. Choose Details Only and pick .csv. Click Export and save the file. The file comes out as CSV or Excel.

Which CRMs can I import a Salesforce export into?

There are ready-made templates for HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Freshsales, Close, Monday.com and Copper: 8 in all, each mapping the export column by column. Any other CRM can take the file too, mapped by hand in the CRM Formatter.

Can Salesforce data be moved into another CRM without a file?

HubSpot and Zoho CRM can move Salesforce data in with their own migration tools. For a file you already have, or records you want cleaned and mapped first, use a template here.
