Export contacts from Outlook on the web

Select the People icon.
Choose Manage contacts, then Export contacts.
Pick All contacts or a folder, then select Export.
The .csv file saves to your Downloads folder.

In the new Outlook for Windows, select People, then Export contacts from the ribbon. Classic Outlook uses File, then Open & Export, then Import/Export.

Outlook export questions

What columns are in an Outlook export?

22 columns, starting with First Name, Last Name, E-mail Address, Company, Job Title, Business Phone. The full list, and where each column lands in each CRM, is on this page.

How do I export Outlook data to CSV?

Select the People icon. Choose Manage contacts, then Export contacts. Pick All contacts or a folder, then select Export. The .csv file saves to your Downloads folder. The file comes out as CSV.

Which CRMs can I import an Outlook export into?

There are ready-made templates for HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Freshsales, Close and Copper: 7 in all, each mapping the export column by column. Any other CRM can take the file too, mapped by hand in the CRM Formatter.

Does Outlook integrate with CRMs directly?
